Meet Sammie, based in Hampshire, our Head Baker, baking for our Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire clients.
I have been in the cake making business for many years. After first training at Southampton College in all aspects of catering, I decided Artisan Cake making was my forte and my passion.
I started by making cakes at home and completing courses to keep up to date with the times. Just over 5 years ago I started working at the Daisy Cake Company where I became very good friends with Bronya. I not only baked and decorated the wedding and celebration cakes, but also helped to run the Bakery and Tea Room.
I have now won many Awards at Cake International, including Bronze and Merit. My goal is to achieve Silver and Gold in the future. In order to continually improve my skills, and produce the finest cakes, I regularly look to do training with other Sugarcraft Professionals.
